The 26 percent.

96% of kids think they are creative. Only 26% of adults do. The gap between those numbers is the whole point.

WhereAdobe research

96% of children believe they are creative. Only 26% of adults do.

The numbers come from an Adobe study a while back, but the finding is old and repeated. There is a gap. The gap is enormous. And it is not a natural loss the way muscle mass is a natural loss. It is a taught loss. Something happens between the kid drawing on the fridge and the adult explaining that they are not really a creative person.

The interesting thing is that the loss is not skill. Nobody is losing the skill of drawing on the fridge. What is lost is permission. And permission, once you name it, is retrievable.

This whole platform is about that retrieval. It is not a promise to make you creative. It is a place to remember that you already were.
